Design decisions: two wings allow for better structural integrity of 3D printed parts, and more modularity, meaning you can print the same wing part multiple times and use it to repair different sections of the wing.
Two wings provide a high surface area to produce the lift expected from a trainer plane, at the cost of loss in roll stability. To minimaze this we are reducing wingtip vortices with the use of aerodynamic joint wingtips that act as structural support as well.
Pusher engine configuration allows to mount an FPV camera in front. To minimize the effect of this on the CG, we are using carbon fiber tubes for the fuselage.
